Saiontz, Kirk and Miles has now become just Saiontz and Kirk! I’m not sure what happened to miles though. To me and some others, this feels like a personal loss. Aww you’re too young to remember that Stephen L. Miles was by himself and Saiontz & Kirk were by themselves and their catchy slogan was two separate slogans: If you have a phone you have a lawyer and Let’s talk about it. The latter being Mr. Miles’ slogan. But don’t worry too much… Mr. Miles is a liberal.
Aw, what a bummer. When Ben was little (3?) he asked me once, “Mom, do we have a lawyer?” And I said “no, why do you ask?” He said, “Well, we have a phone. It says on TV if you have a phone you have a lawyer. They lied.”
I remember the “let’s talk about it” slogan. Oh, that guy has such a Balmer accent , so it was more like, “Let’s talwk abowddit,” and I half wondered if he would add “hon” to the end of it.
We’ll all just have to mourn and get over it.
Poor Miles. R I P, miles. I wish it could’ve worked. Maybe in another time…another place. -sniff-
